Wake Forest Baptist Employee Prescription Mail Service

The Employee Mail Service is a convenient and cost effective way for you to order up to a 90-day supply of maintenance or long-term medication for delivery to your home, office or location you choose within North Carolina. North Tower Pharmacy, located on main campus, serves as the central location for the mail service program, and all prescription processing and shipping will come from this location.

Enroll online at WakeHealth.pharmacy. Click on "Employee Prescription Mail Service" and fill out the New Patient Enrollment Form. You will need to fill out a form for each family member and provide your address, prescription details, and allergy information. A mail order team member will call you within one business day to complete the enrollment process.

An Employee Mail Service team member is available 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can speak directly to a team member at 336-716-2982 or email them at RXMailOrderAHWFB@advocatehealth.org.

If you have existing maintenance prescriptions that are eligible, you can request to have them transferred from a retail pharmacy and delivered to you through our Employee Mail Service. List the name of the pharmacy, their phone number, and any medications that need to be transferred on the new patient enrollment form located at WakeHealth.pharmacy or call us at 336-716-2982 during pharmacy business hours.

Orders will be delivered by FedEx mail services directly to the address provided. There is no fee for shipping.

At this time, prescriptions are not eligible to be shipped outside the state of North Carolina.

Yes, controlled substances are eligible to be mailed; however, an adult 21 years of age or older must be present to sign for the package once it arrives.

Your order will be mailed out within 3 business days of receiving the refill request or new prescription from your doctor. Packages are shipped Monday through Friday for next day delivery.

Your prescriptions could be delayed if:

• Your prescription is incomplete or unreadable
• There is a manufacturer backorder
• Your medication requires a prior authorization
• Your payment information has changed or expired

We will notify you if there will be a delay with your prescription shipment. Your prescriptions may ship in separate packages to avoid delaying your whole order, if necessary.

No, we do not currently offer automatic refills.

Yes, refrigerated prescriptions can be mailed Monday through Friday for next day delivery.

If you do not receive your order within 7 days, please contact us at 336-716-2982 or email us at RXMailOrderAHWFB@advocatehealth.org. Our priority is to make sure you have the medications you need.

The mail service is no additional cost to you! You will just pay for the co-payments of your prescriptions prior to shipment.

You can pay for your prescriptions through your MyAtriumHealth account. Instructions for creating a MyAtriumHealth account can be found here. 

After requesting a prescription refill through MyAtriumHealth, you will select "Delivery by mail" as the delivery method. This will prompt for payment with either an existing card on file or entry of a new credit or FSA card.

All new maintenance prescriptions will be automatically mailed. If the prescription is an acute medication such as an antibiotic, we will call you prior to mailing the prescription.

Please call non-controls in 7 days early and controls/narcotics in 3 days early.

• MyAtriumHealth account

Acute medications can be filled at any retail pharmacy. Have your doctor prescribe the medications to the pharmacy of your choice. If you want to pick up the prescriptions from North Tower Pharmacy, please call us before 3 pm to let us know that you would like to pick up your prescription instead of it being mailed.

No, legally we can only accept faxed prescriptions from your doctor's office. Some restrictions apply.

North Tower Outpatient Pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, where pharmacists are available to answer any medication questions. Please call 336-716-3363 and choose option 3 to speak with a staff member.
